01 // Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RankRider ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RankRider ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

These Terms apply to all versions of the App, including updates and future releases.

02 // Description of the App

RankRider is a performance drive recording application for iOS and Android devices. The App uses your device's GPS, accelerometer, and gyroscope to record drive sessions and compute performance metrics including speed, G-force, and acceleration events.

Key features include:

• Automatic drive session recording triggered by motion threshold
• Performance metric computation (top speed, 0–100 km/h, G-force)
• Car profile and modification log
• Shareable session result cards generated on-device
• Car-class ranking within your city and time window

The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time with or without notice.

03 // Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use RankRider. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you may use the App only with the verifiable consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

You must hold a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle you are operating when using the recording features of the App.

04 // Safety and Responsible Use

By using RankRider, you agree to the following:

• Legal compliance: You will only use the App in compliance with all applicable traffic laws, speed limits, and regulations in your jurisdiction.
• No manual interaction while moving: You will not interact with the App's interface while your vehicle is in motion. The Arm and End Session functions are the only interactions intended; these should be performed when stationary.
• No reckless driving: You will not use the App as motivation or justification for speeding, racing on public roads, or any other dangerous driving behavior.
• Appropriate locations: The App is intended for use on legal driving roads. Use on public roads should comply with all applicable laws. Track use is permitted.
• Vehicle condition: You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is in safe and roadworthy condition before driving.
• Sober driving: You will not operate a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs driving ability.

RankRider is a recording tool. It does not promote, endorse, or encourage street racing, illegal speed events, or any form of dangerous driving. The ranking system is designed to compare like-for-like car performance under normal driving conditions, not to incentivize unsafe behavior.

05 // User Content and Sharing

The App allows you to generate and share session result cards containing your performance metrics, car details, and route silhouettes. You retain ownership of the content you create through the App.

By generating and sharing session cards, you grant RankRider a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the RankRider wordmark and branding within any content shared from the App.

You are solely responsible for the content you choose to share. You agree not to share session cards or any App-generated content in a manner that:

• Glorifies, promotes, or encourages illegal driving activities
• Violates applicable laws or third-party rights
• Is defamatory, harassing, or harmful to others
• Misrepresents your performance data

Car profile information you enter is self-reported. You agree to represent your car and modifications honestly. We do not verify user-submitted car data.

06 // Ranking System

The RankRider ranking system compares validated GPS speed sessions within car classes and cities. Participation in the ranking system is optional and requires enabling ranking in Settings.

You agree that:

• You will not attempt to manipulate, spoof, or falsify GPS data to improve your ranking position.
• Sessions that fail GPS validation will be marked Unverified and excluded from ranking calculations.
• We reserve the right to exclude sessions or accounts from ranking at our discretion if we detect manipulation or policy violations.
• Ranking positions are computed weekly and may change at any time based on activity by other users.
• We may modify the ranking algorithm, car class definitions, or ranking time windows at any time.

The ranking system is not a competition endorsed by any road authority or motorsport governing body. It is a performance comparison tool for personal use.

07 // Intellectual Property

The RankRider application, including its code, design, features, branding, name, logo, and all associated materials, is the intellectual property of RankRider and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App or any of its components
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the RankRider name, logo, or branding in any manner without our written permission
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices in the App

08 // Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use RankRider to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Circumvent or attempt to disable the App's safety features or GPS validation system
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or services
• Conduct automated scraping, data harvesting, or API abuse
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its systems
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App or servers

09 // Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• GPS-derived metrics (speed, distance, acceleration) are accurate to any specific tolerance
• Session recording will capture every drive or every segment of every drive
• Ranking data is free from errors or manipulation by other users

GPS Accuracy Notice

Performance metrics computed from GPS and device sensors (including speed, 0–100 km/h time, and G-force) are estimates based on sensor data and may not be accurate. These figures are for personal reference only and should not be relied upon for any official, legal, insurance, or safety purpose.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RANKRIDER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, ACCIDENTS, TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS, OR LOSS OF DATA.

IN JURISDICTIONS WHERE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS NOT PERMITTED, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10 // Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RankRider and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation while using the App
• Any driving activity you conduct while using the App
• Your infringement of any third-party rights

11 // Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with or link to third-party services, including crash reporting providers, cloud hosting services, and app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play Store). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we are not responsible for.

The App Store and Google Play Store may have their own usage rules that apply to your download and use of the App. You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms when downloading and using the App.

Apple App Store Users

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and RankRider, not Apple; (b) Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App; (c) Apple is not responsible for the App or its content; (d) in the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; (e) Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Google Play Users

If you downloaded the App from Google Play, you acknowledge that: (a) these Terms are between you and RankRider, not Google; (b) Google is not responsible for the App or its content; (c) Google is not obligated to provide support for the App.

12 // Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. To delete ranking data from our servers, contact us as described in Section 15.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to ranking features at our sole discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in data manipulation, or used the App in a manner harmful to other users or the integrity of the ranking system.

Termination does not affect your locally stored session data, which remains on your device until you delete it.

13 // Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first, and then through the courts of competent jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14 // Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where required, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App.
